    Hi Guys,

    I cannot seem to figure out where this border in IE7 comes from. I've dropped a RadInput on my page and it's creating a border which I cannot get rid of. Can you please tell me how I do this?

    Thanks,
    James

    Hello James,

    Thank you for using our services.

    Could you show us a sample of the markup you are using for the RadInput, together with the custom styles you may have applied to the text box? If you have a live link where we can observe the issue it will be very helpful. In order to apply styles to IE6 and IE7 the following CSS hacks are used: "* html ..." for IE6 and "*+html ..." for IE7:
    html body .RadInput .riTextBox, html body .RadInputMgr {
     border-style:solid;
     border-width:0.3px;
     padding:2px 1px 3px;
     }

    And now IE8 has that issue! I will upload an example as soon as we have sorted out the database

    Thanks

    Hi James,

    You can try adding the IE7 related style sheets using conditional style sheet references.

    Hi Radaslov

    Could you please have a look at this for me as an example?

    In IE6 and in IE7, I get this blue border around text boxes and I cannot see how I can change this.

    Thanks,
    James

    Hi James,

    Put this in the headers of your master pages:
    <head runat="server">
        <!--[if lte IE 7]>
        <link href="Pathtoyourstylesheet" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />
        <![endif]-->
        <title></title>
    </head>

    This will create conditional style reference link which will be included only in IE browsers up to IE 7. Then there you will add the previously suggested style rules (with !important statements if needed).

    Best wishes,
