When I try to insert an image into Generic Content, I have two issues.
1.) It brings up the Image Manager, but, there is nothing there, no folders, none of the options are available, etc.
2.) It seems that the Image Manager, from what I have read, is for dealing with images on the file system. But, I would like to insert an image from the Image Library in my Generic Content. I believe the image content in the Image Library is stored in the database, and that is where I want my users to be getting their images from.

So, bottom line, how do I allow content editors to use images in the image library in their Generic Content?

    Hello Joe,

By default the Generic Content uses LibraryDocumentManager which is configured inside ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/EditorToolsFile.xml. If you  have not modified the Generic Content designer and its tools file you should see the built-in dialog that gets items from Images and Documents module.
