It seems (from my testing) that only Chrome 2.0 has this issue; IE7 and FF3 appear to be fine.

I created a custom template for a blog page, this is the address locally:

If I change the casing of 'Test' to 'test', strange things happen:

Since this is browser-specific I do not think there is anything that can be done from SF's side.

    Hello andersleet,

I tried to replicate the problem on my end but didn't succeeded. The problem does seems strange though. Can you please check the following:
    1. Open the Chrome JavaScript console
    2. Click on the Resources Tab and Enable the tracking if needed
    3. Check if all resource files are loaded in both cases (with small and capital letter).

I don't thing that this will be an issue when you deploy the web site, since most probably it will be accessed by domain only. If you we can not find the reason, you might want to create a HttpModule which redirects the requests to such having small letters only.

    p.s. Nice blog p0sts! :)

    Hi Georgi,

Looks like everything is loading the same either way. One thing though, the console is saying: "Unmatched </link> encountered. Ignoring tag" on Blog.aspx:19. I looked at the source code and could not see any unclosed tags; all of them except one were in the format <link ... />, one of them was <link></link>.

Since this showed up on both /test/ and /Test/, I do not think this has any bearing on the problem.

    Cheers,
    anders

    Hi andersleet,

Are you able to reproduce the problem with another version of Google Chrome? I am still trying to find a way and figure out why I do not have the same results. Which is the exact version that you are using?

    Hi,

We have tried to replicate the problem using the same version. At this point, I am not sure what else we can try.
You can open a support ticket and provide us with the live url of the page. We will test this and come back to you.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi
