I'm trying to troubleshoot a Sitefinity menu that is not overlaying Flash elsewhere on the page. The menu in use is the SiteMenu. The version of RadMenu in play is

I've looked through the Telerik support info for a fix and found that setting the RadMenu's Overlay attribute to True should help, but I can't seem to access that through the Template editing interface in Sitefinity.

    Hi Julia,

The Overlay property is made obsolete with RadMenu version 4.0 or higher. RadMenu 4.x overlays elements by default (including flash objects). However, there is an issue with Firefox - please, refert to:
RadMenu cannot overlay flash object under Firefox browser.

Please, let us know if this helps or not.

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I built a static site (that did not use SiteFinity) which faced the same issue.

I solved it by setting the wmode to opaque in the code used to insert the flash, then setting the menu's z-index in CSS to be very high (you will also have to set the element to relative positioning).

    I hope that helps!
