    Hello,

    We're currently porting this site: http://www.buildgreenschools.org/news/ (Static site)  Over to a Telerik installation. I'm having a problem with that page in particular. As you can see, that page is a list of news articles. They are not articles that live on our site, but are from other news sites around the world. I was unable to find a way to do this with the News Module, as it seems to only be able to function as having news posts live as individual pages on our own site.

    I found that the List Module can duplicate this functionality, but with one exception, we cannot figure out how to make the module use pagination. For example, when the list gets to 10 items, it starts with item 11 on page 2.

    Is this possible?

    Hi Joel Housman,

    I can suggest you to still use the New module. You can enter only short portion of the text and customize the templates of the NewsView. This will allow you to use NewsView control which has implementation of paging.
    In order to do that you need to use the external templates for the NewsView control.
    1. Configure Sitefinity to use the NewsView control:
    Be sure these lines are entered in your ~/App_Data/Configuration/Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.ControlsConfig.xml:
        <viewSettings hostType="Telerik.News.WebControls.NewsView"
          <additionalTemplates>
            <add key="ItemListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/News/ListPageMaster.ascx" />
            <add key="SingleItemTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/News/ListPageDetails.ascx" />
          </additionalTemplates>
        </viewSettings>

    2. Customize the template ~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/News/ListPageMaster.ascx. I am attaching a sample modified version which displays the content. Because you are entering external link in the content, the full content link will be pointing to the external site.

    You can read more for controls configuration file here.

    Kind regards,
