I have created a new module for my site.
When I use asp:textbox within the control panel. It appears to use a standard style. It fits nicely into the rest of the page. However when i swapped the boxes for a bunch of RadTextboxes and RadMaskedTextboxes. They lose the style and revert to a strange default 125px width.

I can change the width and other parts of the style by putting it directly in the control. But i would rather do it from css. What is the css file that controls this section of the system? Can i add those controls to the list, so that they react the same as std textboxes?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello Andrew,

You could add your styles to the following css files:
    • ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/global1.css
    • ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/modules.css
    • ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/reset.css
These are the css files that are loading when you view the backend. You should be able to add the RadTextBoxes styles there.

Thanks, i have had a look at those files.
They are quite big, but what i discovered is that the RadTextBox sets it's width to 125px by default. If i could remove this it would take the correct style for a text box.

Do you know how i can do that. Deleting the width=125px, does not do anything. The properties still keep the value. When trying to delete it from the properties box it simply comes back. Strange error.

    Hi Andrew,

How about creating a control adapter for RadTextBox? You can place the adapter in BrowserFile.browser file.

    Best wishes,
