I've created several css classes for use in the Generic Control. The classes appear in the Apply CSS Style dropdown menu and can be added to the text that's typed into the editor. The style appears to be working correctly at this point. However, when the page is published, the styles are not shown on the live site.

I've checked to see if there are any styles cascading over top of the control styles, but it doesn't seem like the styles chosen in the generic control are being pushed to the live site.

It looks like the Generic Content control is adding in its own span tags. Is there a simple way to turn it off from doing that?

    Hi Drew Reutlinger,

Did you add the CSS classes you are inserting in the Generic Content item to the theme which your pages are using? If you have not done so you have to go to ~/App_Themes/[yourthemename]/ and add the css rules for the classes to the stylesheet of your theme.

    Sincerely yours,

That was it. I don't remember reading where I needed to do that. At any rate, it works and thank you for the response.
