I have a site that will have navigation across both the top and down the left side of the page.  I would like to use tab strips for the top menu and the panel bar for the left menu.  I know I can do this if the two menus will have the same content, but I need for them to have different content (menu text).

Can I do this and still have the navigation structure provided by Sitefinity?  I have tried just putting a tabstrip across the top, but when I am on a page that is listed in my tab strip, the menu item is not selected like it is if I use the "site tab strip".

    Please advise.

    Hello James,

You can create two User Controls that will be a copy of SitePanelbar.ascx and SiteTabstrip.ascx controls located in ~/Sitefinity/UserControls folder. After that you should implement the specific logic that you need for each of the controls.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.
