I am looking to make a vertical navigation menu with the built in controls with the community edition.  I didn't see an option on how to turn the horizontal menu to vertical.  Here is a link to my nav I want to make in Sitefinity.  Nav image

    Hi Michael,

I assume you are using Sitefinity SiteMenu control that wraps RadMenu control. If it is so, you could use the Flow property of the RadMenu to customize the way top level items are displayed. Here is an example how to modify ~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation/SiteMenu.ascx user control:

    <radM:RadMenu ID="RadMenu1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SitemapDataSource1" Flow="Vertical"></radM:RadMenu>

Another approach is to set the Flow property through Sitefinity interface. When editing the control properties, expand the Misc section and for the Menu property click Edit. Then expand the Behavior section, find the Flow property and choose the Vertical option.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    the Telerik team
