I am wanting non-expanding menus within the sections of the site. But, when I do so and login to the admin to edit a page - I cannot edit anything within a control that I've dropped on the page. For instance, I have a page that has the menu set at the template level. Then I go to that page from the site map in the admin and click on edit for a generic content control - it won't open. I've tried both overlay and classic edit modes and nothing happens. The popup window won't open.

When I disable this in the menu and set it to "true" in the template - everything works fine. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi Chip Gallent,

When you set to false  the EnableEmbeddedScripts you breaks the RadMenu functionality and this will cause lots of js errors ( please check this with your browser). This breaks the backend js and you are not able to edit any controls on the page. The EnableEmbeddedScripts could be set to false only in case you want to use your custom scripts with the RadMenu control. You can gather more information at Disabling embedded resources.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still very confused on how to have a simple site menu that is just a static list of pages using this menu system? Certainly there is a way within the features of the RadMenu.

    Hi Chip Gallent,

You can create a simple skin and left only the links. You can also work programmatically to achieve desired functionality. I suggest that you should take a look at RadMenu API.
