I'd like to create a custom module using MVC. Is that possible or do I have to use Web Forms?

Thank you for contacting the Sitefinity Support.

In general Sitefinity is based on ASP.NET Web Forms which means that all its modules are based on Web Forms and you can't use MVC to create custom modules. However Sitefinity does support ASP.NET MVC and so you can develop custom MVC widgets. You can read more about the MVC support at the official documentation portal.

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case you have any further questions or concerns.
