    Hi there,
    I have upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6 and have found that my top navigation (sitemenu.ascx) and side nav (SitePanelBar.ascx) have both lost their styles. I am assuming it is because of the new embedded control templates?

    I have reviewed the information found on the download page regarding http://www.sitefinity.com/support/knowledge-base/kb-article/b1154K-bcge-b1154T-cgb.aspx but not sure what the viewsettings hosttype should be entered for both controls? or am I looking in the wrong place?

    <

    viewSettings hostType="????"

    layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/UserControls/Navigation35/SiteMenu.ascx">

    </

    viewSettings>

    Hello Matthew,

    First the SiteMenu control(RadMenu) does not use view templates. There is a sample configuration file that is provided with the download of the external templates( App_Data/Configuration folder).

    There are changes in the control skins from Q1 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. More information at the following blog post : RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX receive a major face-lift!

    Thanks Ivan for your reply.

    I read the post - but need some instructions on how to skin the SiteMenu and SitePanel controls. Do you have another link you can send me with step by step instructions?
