    Hi,

I have created a custom Generic Content reader. what it does is:
    1. Allow the user to pick the generic content category to display.
    2. The user selects category and publishes the page.
    3. This content has some information and a link to another page.
    4. I have a "DIV" element on the page and display the content on the div.
    5. I get the appropriate content with the read more link.
    6. Now when I get the HTML of the content, the link to the read more page is: [Sitefinity]xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx (xxx represent the GUID).

What I require is an appropriate page Url instead of the above format to be displayed to the user.

Please let me know how this can be achieved?

    Regards,

    Hello Siddesh,

You should resolve the dynamic url

    http://www.sitefinity.com/blogs/georgichokov/posts/09-07-02/resolving_the_url_of_dynamic_links.aspx

You can use LinkParser and its methods to do this.

    Hi Ivan,
Thanks for your response. I tried using the LinkParser.ResolveUrl(string html) method.

The error that it throws is "NotImplementedException".

InnerException is: "No default implementation for retrieving item URL yet. Please use delegate to handle retrieval."
