    Hello Bruno Michels,

The following article ASP.NET Profile Properties Overview at MSDN explains how to use the profile properties.

The Telerik.Security.WebControls.ManagerProfile is fine as long as you define the field on the <fieldset> on the ascx part of the control, after that you can call SetProfileProperties() to save it all, my question was always how you define and save programmatically a new field in the profile, any toughts?

    Hello Augusto Radtke,

The profile properties should be declared in the web.config and you can reference them from there which means that you do not need to declare them in the template of a user/custom control. You could use standard ASP.NET methods as the link from my previous post shows.
