    Hey,
I have a unique requirement. Just wanna tag the event as it is featured or not?
Like say, I enter an event in Events Module. Just want to have a radio button with Yes and No as the only possible options on events add / Edit page.

How do I proceed further to add this in my module?

    Regards,
    Siddesh Kapadi

    Hello Siddesh Kapadi,

You can create a custom metakey of Boolean type and use it to set these type of events. You can use controls that implements ICheckBoxControl, ITextControl, RadDatePicker, RadDateInput. For more information, please check UserManual, page 214 Adding Custom Fields.

    Hey,
As per the reference provided the Boolean is not a valid ValueType. Tried it earlier but does not seem to work in this case.
The value is not persisted with, in the database :(

Please let me know any other alternate solution.

    Regards,
    Siddesh Kapadi

    Hello Siddesh Kapadi,

MetaValueTypes.Boolean is valid and persisted if you use control that implements ICheckBoxControl. Otherwise, you have to set the metadata manually by using SetMetaData method of IContent object.

    Hey,
Thanks for the response. I have used a radiobutton for Boolean value type. There are two meta fields that need to be added in meta field list.
