Greetings SI team,
I am in the process of developing a knowledge base articles module in our SI website project (which is based on the generic content module). So far everything is going great except for one issue I am having that I'll explain below...
The thing which I am trying to accomplish is to have the author of each article have the option of appending a selection of files, documents and images to each article based on content already added to the "Images & Documents" libraries. In my current solution so far I have 5 fields which are linked with already created meta-fields and that each one references the DocumentEditorDialog.aspx file for the actual selection of the content to append... this works OK except for the fact that each time the dialog returns it updates just the first textbox containing the file (no matter which button on any of the 5 textboxes are selected).
I noticed in a similar KB article "How to associate content items with files"
that this was an issue at the time of it being written (my implimentation isn't based on that article) and I was curious to know if this is the same case I am having and if so is there a work around or is there another thing I can do to get what I need.
If you could let me know or tell me any work arounds then that would be great since this is something we definately need for this module.
