I would like to attach my Sitefinity databases to the parent instance of SQL Server. However doing so means that my Sitefinity websites loose sysadmin permissions in the process.

Are there any recommended connection string changes that are recommended by Sitefinity that i need to do if i want to attach my databases to the parent instance?

    Hello Duncan Evans,

I can suggest that you use Windows Authentication for connecting to your SQL server if possible (Integrated Security). Then on your SQL server you need to add a login for the identity of your application pool in which your Sitefinity websites run. After you create the login you should assign this user to the db_owner role for your databases.
