Can anyone recommends me a tutorial (video or book) how to develop custom modules on sitefinity community edition. I want to develop a module that can be used many times on the cms but every instance of the module has to have different content. Can anyone recommends me a step by step example (including new database tables, c# code etc.)

    Thank you in advance,

    Lazar Atanasov

    Hi Lazar,

Gabe Sumner at Sitefinitywatch.com provides some of the best tutorials on the web.  His site and Ivan blog help me get started.  Gabe has some an excellent tutorials written and video on doing a intra site module.  You can also find some excellent videos on tv.telerik.com, which covers not only Sitefinity, but the telerik controls available with Sitefinity.  Be sure to check out Telerik Just Code.

Thank you David. I'll try the videos. But I don't understand you with that "Telerik Just Code". This is some group of examples or ... ?

    Regards,

Just Code, is a nice programming tool for indentifying missing using statements.  I find it handing when I am coding Sitefinity modules.  You can find Just Code at Telerik under Developer Productivity.  It is a lot like resharper but uses less resources, and faster.
