    Hi

I'm trying to change the date format that is displayed in my page to dd/MM/yyyy, but I can't find where I can do this.

The option is not available in the drop down list. I've looked at other posts but I don't have a ExternalTemplates/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Generic_Content folder.

I've also tried editing the dates format property that appears in the appearance section of the property editor, but this does not seem to have any effect either.

    Any help appreciated.

    Martin.

    Hi
I've mapped a new template now and I'm using the following

    <telerik:DateTimeLiteral runat="server" ID="Publication_date" DateFormatString="dd-MM-yyyy"></telerik:DateTimeLiteral>

Within ListPageMaster.ascx to display my publication date in the format that I require, but I'm now getting an error message

String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

The date that I'm trying to use is today (17th Jan 2011).
    Thanks
    Martin.

Sorted this out now. I needed to change the format of the news view date to "19 Jan 2011" via the news settings page then the DateTimeLiteral control started to work again. I was able to then use ...

    <telerik:DateTimeLiteral runat="server" ID="Publication_Date" DateFormatString="dd-MM-yyyy"></telerik:DateTimeLiteral>
