    Hi there,

We are building plugable modules for siteFinity.
These modules also contain the web and code behind pages.

Now we want to implement a classic usercontrol as we would normally do in any .net application using a placeholder. When we do this on intra site modules there is no problem but getting them to work in pluggable modules (basically class library's ) seems to be a bit harder. This due to the face that the ascx file does not use the codefile.

Is there anybody with experience in this field?

    with kind regards.

Each module has a views. For each view you have a template. Generally you should add the logic to the view not in the template.
When you create a module you are implementing IToolboxItem which will be the public control that displays your data. Again the control login is added to a separate class and you have a template for it. You can take a look at our sample module Sample pluggable module: Contacts pluggable module - Using embedded templates

    All the best,
