I have developed two custom modules.  Both of these custom modules contain Public User controls than need to communicate with each other if they are both located on the same page.  I would like to have ctrl2 subscribe to an event from ctrl1 if possible.

I  have tried communication with adding to the Context.Items list in ctrl1 and retrieving it in OnPreRender from ctrl2.  The problem is that I need the data that was passed to do a data bind in ctrl2 and I think it is too late to do a databind in the OnPreRender event.

Any Ideas on how I can accomplish this?

Looks like it's not too late to run a databind in the OnPreRender afterall.  I would still prefer to subscribe to events rather than passing this data through the Context.Items collection.  Any suggestions?
