Hi... I've got Active Directory login working great. I'm now tasked with passing the authentication onto OWA. Basically, I want to have a menu link that will bring up the Outlook Web Access screen in an iframe, without requiring the user to re-login to OWA.

Since they are both using the Active Directory login, I'm thinking there has to be a way to pass the logged in user information. Has anyone done this before?

    Thanks!

    Hi Michael Buchsbaum,

You could try using SingleSignOn authentication or just pass the credentials to iframe using QueryStrings, Cookie, Session ( you may encrypt them if necessary).

    All the best,

Do you know of any documentation on how to use SingleSignOn for this? Or anyone else have experience doing this? This could possibly turn into a small paid project for someone if they have experience doing this type of thing.

    Thanks!

    Hi Michael Buchsbaum,

This implementation is pretty easy. Please take a look at these articles

MSDN - Single Sign-On Enterprise Security for Web Applications
Hernan de Lahitte - Single sign-on with Forms Authentication

    Sincerely yours,
