Hi, I'm looking at a multilingual site and they have a page that I can not open or edit. When we navigate through the sitemap on the left, and simply by clicking on the pages, they get an error has occured with no ability to open the page. The error says

An error occurred while processing your request.

When I check the sitefinity.log it says 'Could not find the sitemap node with URL '~/content/our_work.aspx'.......

The url it should obivously be looking for is  '~/en/content/our_work.aspx'.......

I've narrowed this down to something in a generic control in my app master.

    <

    asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="leftArea" runat="server">

but not sure what is in the control and how to remove it. ideas?

it would be really nice if i could list all controls in this control, either through the database or the front end and just delete the offending control!!!!! keys locked in car....

    Hello Charles,

Well, the content for page controls should be in this table - sf_CmsControlProperty

If you can execute a SQL query that finds the row, whose "Value" column is LIKE '%<asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="leftArea" runat="server">%' then you could manually edit the value and remove this tag, so it doesn't break the page.

Let me know if this works.

    Best wishes,
