    Can someone please detail for me the steps to create a custom layout template for the event scheduler?  I've tried following the steps outlined in the documentation for mapping the backend embedded templates and also tried setting the LayoutTemplatePath property of the frontend component to point to a custom control with the following code (copied from the EmbeddedTemplates zip file and slightly modified):

    <telerik:RadScheduler ID="eventsSchedule" runat="server" SelectedView="MonthView">
        <AppointmentTemplate>
            <asp:HyperLink id="eventDetailsLink" runat="server" />
       </AppointmentTemplate>
    </telerik:RadScheduler>

     But nothing seems to make any difference in either the admin side or the front end.  This is a major sticking point in my evaluation.

    Thanks in advance,
    David

    Hello David Park,

    Make sure that you have mapped the template correctly with its host type hostType="Telerik.Events.WebControls.EventsScheduleView". The LayoutTemplatePath specify the template to the EventsScheduleView tempalte where you have RadScheduler declaration. Onece you have mapped the tempate you need to restart your application. Thus the changes will take effect. The RadScheduler uses the embedded skins that you can change from its declaration.

    Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
