    Hi,

I have three different blogs in "Blog Module" and I have placed BlogPosts control from the toolbox on to the page. Now when i try to edit the BlogPosts usercontrol and set the CssClass property. the property is being saved into the database.

But when publish the page and view the source code, the BlogPosts is being rendered as <ul class="sf_PostListing">, i am not able to view the class which i have defined as CssClass in properties of usercontrol.

I need to have different styling for the three blogs, so i need that css class in order to differentiate between them

    Thanks,
    Kranthi

    Hi Kranthi,

The CssClass property does not work for versions prior 3.6 SP2 ( build 1936). If you are using one of the previous version you can create several templates for ItemListTemplatePath( ListPageMaster template) and SingleItemTemplatePath ( ListPageDetails template ) and add the css classes in the templates. You can control the above mentioned properties' value from BlogPosts >> Advance >> Appereance category.

    Hi kiran,

You should not create a templates. You need to download the external templates from your MyClient.net account for the version you are using. After that you can map the templates to your NewsView control  from Advanced Tab >> Appearance >> SingleItemTemplatePath - map ListPageDetails, ItemListTemplatePath - map ListPageMaster. Both the properties uses WebEditors so you can browse the file system and find the templates.

    All the best,

    Hi syed,

It seems that the template can not recognize the CssFileLink control. Can you add the following register to your /CMS/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/News/ListPageMaster.ascx:
    <%@ Register Assembly="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" Namespace="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" TagPrefix="telerik" %>

You can also try to remove the <telerik:CssFileLink> tag that is giving the error if the above does not help.

    Sincerely yours,
    Rado
