    I created a class by inheriting EventsView. Have set the custom user controls as the ItemListTemplatePath. I require the event start date and event end date to extract the month and the day for each record as these would act as my columns in the repeater control.

    Also, let me know how can I assign the values to these literal controls inside the repeater control.

    Hi Siddesh Kapadi,

    Override SetItemMetadata method in your custom control. From there you have access to all content items  and respectively all metakeys like Event_Start, Event_End. You can use the itemContainer parameter to find each control inside the Repeater and change its value - itemContainer.FindControl();
