    Hi,

I am building a large project and I have written some code for an ecommerce engine.

I intend to manage/spawn "instances" of this ecommerce engine through Sitefinity, via custom development. What I am wondering is, what type of module would a large solution (with pages, web.configs, code, etc) be? Is this possible through Sitefinity? Modules gives me the image of small bits of functionality like just custom ASP.NET controls.

    Thanks

    Hello G S S,

Actually the architecture of a module could be very complicated. I suggest that you should take a look at the following articles which describes the basis of Sitefinity's architecture.

Sitefinity 3.6 new backend architecture - The motivation behind the new architecture - what’s in it for you?
