    In a template, I have an image with a hyperlink attached to it overlayed with a div that contains a content placeholder. When creating a page from this template, I insert a generic content control into the placeholder and attempt to edit the text within, but when I click on the edit button, I get redirected to the image link destination.

    How do I disable the behaviors in edit mode so that I can edit the text in the control?

    Thanks and regards,

    BB

    Hello Brett Byford,

    You can use QueryString key to escape the url redirect. You have to check whether you are in edit mode

    if (HttpContext.Current.Request.QueryString["cmspagemode"] == "edit")
    {
      // you are in edit mode. Do not set NavigateUrl or change you code properly

    }

    Kind regards,
