    Hi Team,

We have customized sitefinity singlethread.ascx according to our need and also we store userId (Guid as string) in 'sf_frm_Post' table's 'Owner' column. as in sitefinity its username

Problem is, when we try to edit post content via ~/sitefinity/Admin/Modules.aspx?module=Forums, the original content gets varnished and saving is passed without any error.

I suspect that it is because we store userId in the owner column.

Any suggestion to over come from this issue.

    Best regards.

    Hello Thavarajah,

Do you have a custom data provider ? How do you save the userId in the sf_frm_Post - you have modified just the template or you have a custom data provider?

    All the best,

    Hi Thavarajah,

It is possible that the problem is in your custom implementation. Could you share the code of the provider and the backend templates for Forums? By default there is not a problem with content and I suppose that you are making something that removes the content, but without having your code I cannot tell you what the problem is.

    Best wishes,
