    Hi,

     I want to extend the Generic content module by adding meta fields. I want to add a new meta field named Author  picture . I have added following in Web.config
      <add key="Generic_Content.Author_Picture" valueType="ShortText" visible="True" searchable="False" sortable="False" defaultValue="" />
    Now I have added two pages for inserting and editing into Admin->Control template ->Generic content  folder
    I din't find the location to download these external template from the Sitefinity site. I added like a normal Pages.
    I placed the following code in Edit page :
    <%@ Register TagPrefix="sfGCn" Namespace="Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls" Assembly="Telerik.Cms.Engine" %>

     <sfGCn:ContentMetaFields ID="editMetaFields" runat="server">
     <ItemTemplate>
    <li>
     <asp:Label ID="Label5" AssociatedControlID="Author_Picture" runat="server">
     <asp:Literal ID="Literal7" runat="server" Text="Author picture">
     </asp:Literal>
     <em id="Em2" runat="server"></em></asp:Label>
     <asp:TextBox ID="Author_Picture" runat="server"></asp:TextBox>
    </li>
    </ItemTemplate>
    </sfGCn:ContentMetaFields>

    But this is not working so please let me know what other thing are remaining so that I can add this meta fields in Generic content module.

    I have checked this manual link also but I din't get.
