    Hi Jay Mehta,

    You should download the external templates ZIP file from your client.net account. Unzip the file and you will find the list templates in the \Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\Lists folder. Copy lists templates and paste them in your project.
    You should map the necessary view in the Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.ControlsConfig.xml file in the ~/App_Data/Configuration folder in your project. You can find  the Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.ControlsConfig.xml file in the ~/App_Data/Configuration folder in external templates ZIP file. When you map the necessary view in the Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.ControlsConfig.xml, the application should be restarted.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <controlsConfig>
      <viewMap>
        <viewSettings hostType="Telerik.Lists.WebControls.ListDisplay"
          <additionalTemplates>
            <!--Simple list-->
            <add key="SimpleListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/SimpleListView.ascx" />
            <!--Expanded list-->
            <add key="ExpandedListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/ExpandedListView.ascx" />
            <!--Expandable list-->
            <add key="ExpandableListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/ExpandableListView.ascx" />
            <!--Anchor list-->
            <add key="AnchorListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/AnchorListView.ascx" />
            <!--Page list-->
            <add key="PageListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/PageListView.ascx" />
            <!--Simple Rotating list-->
            <add key="RotatingListsSimpleTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/RotatingListsSimpleView.ascx" />
            <!--Expanded Rotating list-->
            <add key="RotatingListsExpandedTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Lists/RotatingListsExpandedView.ascx" />
          </additionalTemplates>
        </viewSettings>
      </viewMap>
    </controlsConfig>

    Go edit a page that has Lists control, edit the control, select view and press "I'm done" button. You will see that Lists control will use external templates.

    You can find more information about external template in the KB article: How to map a view to an external template, in Sitefinity 3.6 or later?

    HI,

    Please be more specific as to what you mean by "You should download the external templates ZIP file from your client.net account."

    We've logged into our account, went to the downloads page, and do not see anything called "External Templates" or anything like this.
