    Hi

I have searched high and low for this, but can't find it.

I am trying to edit the layout of the Forums control.  I have the external templates, but editing them seem to have no effect on the output.

Is there anything I have to do to use the external templates instead of the embedded ones?

Which are the ascx files I need to edit?

Any posts, KBs or articles I should read?

    Andrew

Sorry, I'm an idiot.  I was using Sitefinity by accessing the online editor, but editing the templates locally.  I suppose it could happen to anyone...

    Hello Andrew,

Forums module does not use embedded or external templates. The module templates are inside the project

Front end templates are located inside \Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\Forums\ and these are the templates you have to edit. Mapping is not required.

    Thanks

I was editing local files and trying to see production changes.  Silly me.
