I need to add some javascript to the content IFRAME within the Generic Content Editor. Possible solutions?

When embedding YouTube videos the "Apply CSS Class" dropdown menu goes behind the video when editing. I have javascript solution to fix this, but needs to run on the same page as the embed code (the IFRAME in this instance)

    Thanks

Would anyone have any tips on how to get the "Apply CSS Class" dropdown to stay in front of the youtube video?

    Hi mcpdinkansas,

Set wmode="transparent" of the flash object and this should fix your issue.

    Hey Ivan,

That's the problem, I cannot do this.

Our client copy and paste from You tube - You tube does not add this param to the embed code. We cannot ask the client to insert this param each time they copy and paste this embed code.

I have created a script that auto-inserts this param into the embed code. I need to be able to run this script on the editor but cannot due to the fact the content of the editor is inside an iframe.

I need to be able to "inject" this script into the editor's content iframe.

Any thoughts, ideas, or ways to do this?

    Thanks

    Hello mcpdinkansas,

The RadEditor control has a client side API that you can use

    Hey Ivan,

This seems like the solution I need, only problem is I cannot get a reference to the editor on CtrlProps.aspx (the generic content editor page).

It looks like the RadEditor ID is "textEditor" but I get an error when trying to use that ID.

    Thanks

    Hello mcpdinkansas,

You have to map GenericContentDesigner.ascx template where you have access to the RadEditor control. Please take a look at How to map a template
