    Morning Guys,

We getting started on building custom modules for our Sitefinity website. So i am sure that you will see me posting here quiet a bit in the near future.

I am currently reading up on the following page of the dev manual: Dev Manual and have followed the instructions here to the letter (downloaded, placed the zip in the templates folder, etc.) but am unable to get past step #9 due to the following error:

C:\Documents and Settings\duncane\Local Settings\Temp\2txymtd5.542\Temp\MyFirstModule.csproj(68,11): The imported project "C:\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk.

Anyone have any ideas what this is due to and how i can resolve it?

    Duncan

    Hi Duncan,

Thank you for using our services.

This error is usually thrown when there is problem  with an <import> declaration in Project's .csproj file.
Here are some useful links that describe this problem.

However I suggest that you should take a look at the new backend architecture for 3.6.
