I am trying to overcome the shortcoming of the Sitefinity search engine for Azure deployments.
I created a Custom Search Engine in the Google UI, registered the site, added the snippet of Google code to a 'Search' page.
The next step was to somehow index the site - I believe the start of the process is to create a sitemap and register it with Google's custom search engine. So, I created a page with a navigation tree for it's content and named it 'Sitemap'. The problem is that when I look at the page in browser the URL is something like http://myapp.cloudapp.net/sitemap
and Google is expecting a file extension at the end of the url. It gives me an error every time I try to test the sitemap. I tried naming the page 'sitemap.html' - totally failed...
Any idea how should I proceed?
