    Hi.

I'm trying to add meat field to the Document Library but I don't know how. I have read a lot of documententation and I undesrtand the theoric process, but i didn't find how to do it in practice.

For example, in the thread "Sortable Columns in Documents Library" of this forum, Rebecca (form the Telerik Team) explian how to do it, but i can't fallow her, because she said:
"To show the filed in Sitefinity admin section, modified the ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Libraries/ControlPanelEdit.ascx

But i can't find this path, is not in my project.

I think, maybe this change in this new version, because this post is from 2008. Two years ago.

I have the same problem with other documentations about it, i can't found the ascx files, where i have to do the changes. The same case for the admin user interface, and for the public user interface.

    Somebody can help me!

    Thanks.

Thanks, Ivan, for your quickly answer.

I'm reading the user manual, is very good. But now I can't found how to download the sitefinity standard ExternalTemplates.zip. If I have a trial version of sitefinity, can I download this file? At least the community version?

    Thanks again.

    Regards

    Daniel

    Hello Daniel Cuba,

Take a look at this KB article - How to map a template. All external templates are located under Download section of your account. The templates are version related. If you have not downloads the templates will not be available for downloading as well.

    Kind regards,
