I am trying to create a control that has multiple templates e.g. ItemsListTemplate and SingleitemTemplate, and also how do I code the display mode to switch to the required template.

I have done one so far, but I would like to know how to create it so multiple templates can be supported in the controlconfig.xml

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Radoslav,

For clarification, are these 'templates' referred to as ControlDesigners?

    Hi J.Hov,

The templates are not 'referred" as ControlDesigners. They are set as a control properties. You can add reference from the designer to the control properties. The ControlDesigner is just user friendly implementation of the Advanced tab and it allows to use complex controls.

    Kind regards,

    HI Ivan,

Ok so ControlDesigners are there for the 'Basic' tab in the settings view of a control?

Templates are there to 'skin' individual controls.

Do you have a link to a really good resource on how these two topics work?

    Regards,
    Jacques
