    Hi,

    I've made some UserControls and they work very well, but I get lost when I try to make a DLL, can someone send me an example (dll source)?

    And how can I say to Sitefinity to add the control in a certain Group? Is it some annotation? [Sec("XX")] ?

    Hi Charles Kniss,

    You could take a look at

    You could specify the toolbox category in the web.config declaration of your control

    <add name="CONTROL NAME" section="NAME OF THE SECTION" type="NAMESPACE, NAME OF THE CLASS LIBRARY"/>

    You could create Toolbox item for your class and set the section programmatically

    using System;
    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Text;
    using Telerik.Web;

    namespace Telerik.Samples.WebControls
    {

        public class MyControlToolboxItem : ToolboxItem
        {

            public MyControlToolboxItem()
                : base(typeof(MyControl))
            {
                base.DisplayName = Messages.MyControl_DisplayName;
                base.Description = Messages.MyControl_Description;
                base.Section = "TYPE DESIRED SECTION HERE";
            }
        }
    }

    Hi Bruno Michels,

    You have to get the logic from the user control and migrate it to the class library. I do not see how this could be related to Sitefinity itself.
