    Hello humayoo,

    There are issues with IE 9. Sitefinity 3.7 SP4 uses the RadControls build that does not support IE9 and we need to make a new build with the newer version of the RadControls.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello humayoo,

    You can try to upgrade the controls using bindingRedirect in the configuration, but there is no guarantee that this will break something else, since all Sitefinity's dlls are build against certain version of the RadControls that we ship with the default service pack. Generally this is something that we should fix due to internal dependencies.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello humayoo,

    We have to update the RadControls in the 3.7 edition, but we have not scheduled a time frame for a new SP.

    All the best,

    Hi medicalwebgeek,

    The SP for 3.7 with updated controls is not scheduled. We will need some more time since this will require bug fixing. We will not be able to distribute such a pack before Q2 release.

    What we've done, for the time being, is insert the following in all masterpages (head section):

    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />

    This overcomes problems related to Telerik controls (RadWindow will not even open, for example) both in front-end and back-end (especially the Page-Editing page).

    Or, as an alternative, you can add that meta tag in the code-behind on pages you wish to implement compatibility (in Page_Load):

    Dim metaTag1 As New HtmlMeta
    metaTag1.HttpEquiv = "X-UA-Compatible"
    metaTag1.Content = "IE=8"
    Page.Master.FindControl("head").Controls.Add(metaTag1)
