I have a SWF that is driven by an XML file.  XML file specifies all the images to load as well.

If I load the movie directly in a browser everything is fine.  If I embed the movie in a sitefinity page, it displays the correct SWF file but the images and data never loads. I included an html page loaded to the site in an Iframe and it works fine.

    What might be causing this?

    Thanks,
    -Vijay

    Hi Vijay,

Most probably the paths defined in the XML file are the issue. Perhaps when loaded inside Sitefinity, they are no longer valid. Could you check this somehow? Please try to make them absolute, just for the test, and let me know if they are still not loaded.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi

I inserted the coding to embed a flash video... it shows up in safari, chrome, firefox, but NOT ie.  Is there an issue with ie and sitefinity? or the flash and ie? anything i can do to fix this?

    Hello Jeffrey Reitzes,

There should not be a problem to use flash in Sitefinity. The RadEditor has built in flash editor that you could test with a simple move in IE and FF. In case you have some custom flash manager check the base path which contains your flash images. Make sure that there is not some js interaction if your flash manager uses some js.

    Sincerely yours,
