    Hi,

    we have developed a website using Sitefinity 3.7. Its content was in English language.

    Now our client wants to have one more instance of this website for "Korean" language, with the same code used for English version.
    On that new instance, they will create new pages and adds content in Korean language using editor.

    How can i enable the Korean language in Sitefinity so that we can enter the text in Korean characters?

    Hi Jayakrishna,

    I am sending you not translated and compiled resources that you need to translate and return them back to me. These resources are used for the backend - admin part of the cms.

    To have localization for the public content you should enable the localization from the web.config

    <localization defaultProvider="Sitefinity" persistenceMode="PathPrefix" defaultCulture="en" cultures="en, ko">

    Thanks for your response.

    I configured in the web.config as,
    <localization defaultProvider="Sitefinity" persistenceMode="QueryString" defaultCulture="en" cultures="en, ko" >

    i selected Korean language using "Language Selector" control, it postbacks and shows Korean version of that page. When i click any link on that page, it is showing English version page not Korean version.

    How can i persist the user selected language for the remaining pages too?

    Hello,

    Make sure that the links do not point to the other language version. If there is not translated content it is possible that you are sent to the translated version.
