    Hello Siddesh Kapadi,

    Could you elaborate some more about "link the control to the specific page"?" When the control is dropped to a given page, it belongs to the current page and staged version is created.

    You can handle "I'm done" button if you create a control designer where you can override OnSaving method.

    Hello Ivan,

    I have a User Control a.ascx which I drag and drop to the content Place holder of my page.
    On Mouse over of the control it allows me to edit the page.
    Once I click on edit, it opens a new popup window.
    I wanna set this to the specific page / control.

    Also, I need to pass the pageID to the control / page in the popup.

    Hope, I have clarified this to your understanding.

    Regards,
    Siddesh Kapadi

    Hi Siddesh Kapadi,

    Your custom parameter should be a property of the control. This is how you can pass it to the designer. Another option is to read it from the query string.

    ControlDesignerProperty.Text = ((MyCustomControl)DesignedControl).PropertyOfMyControl;

    Hey Ivan

    I needs to use the querystring to pass it to the rad window, as there can be multiple parameters. How can I acheive this.

    Hello Siddesh Kapadi,

    The link I sent you shows how to use QueryStrings. The code in the other post reads the QueryString data.
