Hello, I have a website built in Sitefinity it has 3 languages and persistance mode set to PathPrefix in web.config, in my local computer everything works perfect, but after uploading to production server it shows "The page cannot be displayed" after redirecting to /en/Default.aspx please check here http://www.alitbeachhotel.com/

Any clues what can be the reason or what did I miss?

    Thanks

    Hi Karen,

Thank you for using our services.

The link you have provided is for a website which is not running on Sitefinity. Could you provide us with a link to a website running on Sitefinity?

    All the best,

    Hi Karen,

Thank you for getting back to me.

This looks like a configuration issue with the server. Could you please check if disabling localization of the website will make the pages come up? Just try setting the persistence mode to None.

Thanks for your answer Radoslav, I thought about the same thing, this is definitely the IIS issue, but I am not getting which one exactly, after I set PersistanceMode="None" no page comes up except the /Home.aspx but this happens only because we had actual Home.aspx file there (but it was messed up, all radcontrols lost their styles), no other pages come up, this seems some URL rewriting issue to me.

    Hi Karen,

Please check the error log file located in ~/App_Data/sitefinity.log file for any related error messages recoderd. Also make sure that you have .NET 3.5 SP1 installed on the target machine.

    Hi Karen,

When you have added the website on the live server did you set up any host redirection or something like this. The error is thrown from your IIS rather than from Sitefinity.

    Hi Radoslav
No I didn't do any extra steps, I just unzipped the website files into the folder, created a new website in IIS which points to that folder, restored the DB, changes the connection string and that's it. I tried this several times so no luck (

    Hello Karen,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Is it possible that you open a Support Ticket so that we can set up a remote desktop session if possible. This will help us see what is the problem on your live environment. When you open the ticket please reference this forum thread.
