    Hello every body,
    I changed My web.config and I set the AllowLocalisation to "true" for all providers and DefaultCulture to "en"...
    checking my db I notice that the IdLang become "127"   for every new entry!

    for modifying my langId in my Db a execute some query, something like this ;

    Update sf_GCMetaData set LangID = @specificLangId where LangID = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/News')

    Update sf_CmsContentVersion set LangID = @specificLangId where LangID = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/News')

    Update sf_CmsTextContent set Culture = @specificLangId where Culture = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/News')

    Update sf_VersionItem set CultureID = @specificLangId where CultureID = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/News')

    Update sf_VrsTxtData set CultureID = @specificLangId where CultureID = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/News')

    with

    set

    @nonSpecificLangID = 1040

    set

    @specificLangId = 127

    every thing goes well and finally I can see my News in the application.

    the problem is with the Generic Content

    I have a template with many Generic Content
    the problem is that i loosed all my Generic Content...
    certainly the LangId record in my db it stills "1040" and when i Execute a Query like

    set @nonSpecificLangID = 1040
    set @specificLangId = 127

    Update sf_GCMetaData set LangID = @specificLangId where LangID = @nonSpecificLangID and Application in ('/')

    i get this error

    Violazione del vincolo PRIMARY KEY 'PK_sf_GCMetaData'. Impossibile inserire la chiave duplicata nell'oggetto 'dbo.sf_GCMetaData'.

    it's primarykey error ....
    it's impossible to insert a duplicate key in 'dbo.sf_GCMetaData'

    It Exists a way to change all my generic Content LanGId to 127 and finally to load all my generic Content in the template...
    thank you very much

    Hello Bachar Zeidan,

    All content items created in default culture will be assigned with language ID 127 - invariant culture. The culture should be changed only in case that you desire to change the default language of the website. This forum thread contains a proper query for doing this.

    Sincerely yours,
