    Hello all,

    We are using the .Net 2.0 3.7 SP2 version of Sitefinity, but cannot for the life of me figure out why our History tab is missing. We have the View, Properties, and Permissions tabs, but no History for the pages themselves. Am I missing something, or forgot to enable something? In the web.config, we do have allowPageHistory set to true, still with no luck.

    Thanks in advance!
    Brad

    Hi Brad Taylor,

    Could you check whether you are using Standard or Community Edition. The Community Edition does not support versioning (How to check your version).

    Can you set allowVersioning for one of the Generic_Content providers to narrow down the issue? Is it applies only for the pages or globally?

    <add name="Generic_Content"  allowWorkflow="false" allowLocalization="true" urlRewriteFormat="[Publication_Date]/[Name].aspx" urlDateTimeFormat="yy-MM-dd" urlWhitespaceChar="_" visible="True" defaultMetaField="Name" securityProviderName="" allowVersioning="True"  allowComments="false" commentsModeration="true" versioningProviderName="" connectionStringName="GenericContentConnection" type="Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data.Providers.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data"/>

    Kind regards,

    Hey Ivan,

    Thank you for your response, yes we are using the Community Edition, and that would be our issue. We will be upgrading shortly to the Standard Edition and see if that works!

    Thanks again,
    Brad
