    Hey all,

Odd question that I just can't seem to figure out as of lately. When creating my master page, I've got one placeholder with multiple controls being placed into it. In the admin side, when editing the page, I get something like the attached file (sf-prerender) shows; my question is if there any way to allow the placeholder to hold multiple controls that are aligned left to right (when rendered, the file is also attached (sf-postrender))? I'd like the admin to visually show what the page will look like, and allow the client to edit the items in a row, rather than one column.

    Thanks in advance,
    Brad Taylor

    Hi Brad,

Controls in the page editor are wrapped within div elements and styles for these elements are defined in in ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/PageEditorOverlay.css. Control holders are wrapped into divs with class ContentArea and controls themselves are wrapped into divs with class controlWrapper. You can modify the rules so that the controlWrapper divs are aligned next to each other.

    Radoslav,

Thank you for your reply! I will take a look at the css and see what may be able to change - the issue is that the same template is being used on multiple different layouts of the site, and is controlled more by the controls on the page than anything else. I think modifying the css itself would only help with one certain layout with specific controls, but I'll give it a shot!

    Thanks again,
    Brad
