    HI there
    I am, of course, new to sitefinity development, so im sorry if this is an obvious question.
    How can i navigate between user controls in the public part of the site?
    I have a list and a list detail.  Both  are user controls  and situated on diferent pages in the public part of the module, so my question is how to find the page where the user controls are

    Thanx

    Hello Jorge Vinagre,

    Our built in controls use a property which the user sets. This property holds the path to the detail page. When the items list is generated if this property is set, the path will be included in the links. This is what you have to do on your control:
    [WebEditor("Telerik.Cms.Web.UI.UrlEditorWrapper, Telerik.Cms"),
    Category("Explicit Links")]
    public virtual string SingleItemUrl
    {
        get
        {
            object obj = ViewState["SingleItemUrl"];
            if (obj != null)
                return (string)obj;
            return String.Empty;
        }
        set
        {
            ViewState["SingleItemUrl"] = value;
        }
    }

    Best wishes,

    Hi there
    Thanks, you´ve been most helpful :)

    Now....another thing.....I wanted to use, in the public views, those buttons that appear in the admin site(like "Edit This Page"). The styles are on the global.css and Modules.css i think. How can i include them on my user controls?

    Can you show me a snippet on how to use those styles?, because the buttons have two gifs

    Thanks again

    Hello,

    You can use @import url(stylesheet.css); You can check the backend styleshets located under Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default folder.
