I have a nested master page set up. For the sake of example, let's just say that my company is GM. I have a master page for GM, and then say a nested master page for Chevy. Then under the Chevy master page I have a bunch of links. I am trying to use a SitePanelBar for all these links under the Chevy page. The problem is that if I don't do anything, I get all the links in the entire GM site, not just the ones for Chevy. If I set StartFromCurrentNode to true, on the default page I get only the links for Chevy but if I go to one of the pages via the links, no links show up at all.

    Conufsed? Me too...

    Hi Frank,

Our understanding is that you have a page structure as shown in the attached screenshot. In this example Sub_page2 is the one which has SitePanelBar control. If the StartFromCurrentNode is set to true, this will show only the page hierarchy which goes after this page. If you want to see the pages which are at the same level as Sub_page2, you should use the StartingNodeOffset property (for example if you set it to "2", you will see a list of pages which are under Sub_page1).

Please let me know if our assumption is not correct and this does not answer your question.

    Sincerely yours,
    Nikifor

Thank you, but unfortunately this does not answer my question.

Let me try to be more clear.

I am creating this page for a organization called MOESC. Under that organization are several programs, such as RPDA. I created a template from a master page for MOESC. I then link to all of the programs via a SiteMenu. That works fine.

I then uploaded a template for RPDA based on a nested master page. The RPDA master page is based on the MOESC master page. When someone clicks on the RPDA link in the SiteMenu I want them to go to RPDA's main page. When they get there, I want there to be a SitePanelBar on the right that has a menu of all RPDA's sublinks. I want the SitePanelBar to have the same links on each RPDA sublink page as well as the main RPDA page.

Right now I have the SitePanelBar on the RPDA template. The problem I'm running into is if I choose true for StartFromCurrentNode, it displays fine on the RPDA main page but when I click on the sublink there are no links on the SitePanelBar. I want the SitePanelBar to have the same links on the RPDA main page as well as all the sublinks.

    Hope that helps.

Actually, I think I've figured it out. I set the StartingNodeOffset to 2, had StartFromCurrentNode set to False, and then had ShowStartingNode set to true and it works!

    Thanks for your help.
