    Hi Pepi,
I have read and read, but i haven't sol. I'm searching to extend in one new template the NewsItmesList capabilities. I the past I used simple UserControl, but now I need to implement some other solution.

I have tested creating coping the NewsItemsList to make my extending NewsItemsList  and the NewsItemsList.ascx.cs and added some codebehind. I have tried with..

public partial class NewsItemsList : Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls.Admin.ContentItemsList<NewsItemsView>
but i have some frameworkinitialize() error and  the warnings demand to modify the Griditem and FilterExpressionField to prevent some overriding?

    After tried with ViewModeControl<NewsItemsView>

This 2 cases not working and I can't finish this work. I search same as original Template with some code but I can't. Please could you found the correct way to use NewsItemsList template adding some fonctionality.

    Regards

    Hello Pierre,

You can use User Controls for your Views. The difference is that you should inherit from ViewModeUserControl but not from ViewModeControl as in your case. ViewModeControl is used if you want to work with custom controls.

Please check the article What are views, there is an example on how to load a User and Custom controls for your views.

    All the best,
    Georgi
