    Good day,
I am attempting to remove some padding from an compiled style sheet for the ImageGallery module in Sitefinity 3.7.  There seems to be some top and bottom padding baked into the module, but we cannot successfully remove that padding.  We can cheat it by using negative margins, but that brings up another issue which is the background of the images (the padded part above the photos) is not transparent (nor can we make it transparent), so the content directly above the ImageGallery is hidden from view (by the padded space).

We've looked through the forums for a good solution, but even using template overrides has been unsuccessful (more things break than are fixed).  Please Help!  The compiled code seems impossible to work with!!  How can we regain the ability to customize?

    Hello Steven,

Thank you for using our services.

The embedded css properties can be overridden with an important statement. ImageGallery is not a module. It is a ContentView based control. Generally you can download the external template for this control and modify its layout. Then you can map the template to ImageGallery control using its ItemListTemplatePath property. You can easily create a custom  css class and integrate it with ImageGallery control. You can add your css to a template css or use CssFileLink contorl and its FileName property to set the location to your custom css file.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Sincerely yours,
